Etienne CASIMIR

Full Professor in Private Law, Etienne Casimir is a Professor at University of Poitiers, where he is in charge of the “Enterprises and Companies” section within the Private Law Research Team.

In addition, he manages the “Notaries and Business Counsels” University Degree Program at Panthéon-Assas University and is editorial co-director of the Assas Law Review.

His teaching activity covers various aspects of Business Law (Companies’ Law, General Business Law, Competition Law…) as well as the Law of Contracts. He is the author of numerous publications within these fields of law, and most notably on Companies’ Law

He previously worked as an Associate Professor (Maître de conférences) at University Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas (2016 – 2017), where he completed his PhD thesis in Companies’ Law (The categories of shareholders, dir. D. Cohen, 2015).
